Shift: 1st Shift (8:00am – 5:00pm) + Overtime

PAY: NCP offers a competitive wage to increase with experience.

SUMMARY: Operates corporate telephone/switchboard system and greets customers, vendors and visitors. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operates telecommunication system to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls. 
  • Greets guests as they enter the building. Monitors security procedures.
  • Assists statements department by keying restarts, envelope reorder forms, and manual orders.
  • Manages workflow and reports in Columbus system.
  • Maintains and orders all office supply for certain departments. 
  • Will be responsible for light clerical duties for certain supervisors.
  • Assisting with company events and projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in computer software applications: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Punctual with strong attendance history 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED, or one to two years of related experience (switchboard), or minimum 3 years overall work experience. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Read, write, speak and interpret English and any other languages or dialects deemed necessary to perform this position.  Ability to speak effectively to callers, visitors and employees of the company.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to handle complex tasks and multiple projects (multi-task).
